I help data leaders to become authentic and growth oriented | Authentic Leadership Coach & Co-Founder | New Work Practitioner | Data & Cloud Advisor | Speaker | Dr. rer. nat.

7 things I am telling all my new hires to any data team: 0) take care of yourself - stay within the defined working hours. 1) read the data strategy and the company business strategy. 2) talk to two team members and two non-team members about both strategies. 3) check out the data catalog and BI tool daily. Familiarize yourself with our data. 4) ask all your questions. If your peers can not answer your questions, get to my office. I am interested to learn and improve. 5) Use the onboarding guide and improve at least two things in there. 6) Have fun and make history. What do you recommend to your new hires? 🫶🏼 Share this one with your colleagues and peers who are aiming for authenticity and data leadership as well. ✨ Follow Dr. Markus Schmidberger and Turtle Transformation Limited for more authentic leadership content. #authenticleadership #leadershipdevelopment #leadership #data #datastrategy #newhire #onboarding

#2 can be real meaningful - helps align all teams towards the same end goal/vision in case they're working in silos.

Asking questions is underrated. And often, it is because of apprehension etc. It is the leaders job to counteract that
