Spotlight on our talented apprentices! 🌟 As a special contribution to our results presentation day, our young apprentices from Ternitz created the giveaways for our guests. They crafted unique metal cubes featuring our mottos "Energy. Leadership. Progress." and "Together we shape the future". These pieces were handed over to journalists and key stakeholders, symbolizing our commitment to innovation and shared success. A special thank you goes to all our apprentices who demonstrated exceptional skills and creativity. Their work not only showcased their capabilities but also reflected SBO's spirit of innovation and commitment to quality. This effort underscores our belief in developing talent and fostering a culture where our apprentices can become key contributors to our corporate identity and values. Their achievements are a powerful sign of their potential to shape the future of our industry. We're proud to highlight our young professionals and look forward to their continued growth within SBO! Last night's "Growing Your Biz through Government" event, hosted by the Michigan Black Business Alliance , was a powerful reminder of the incredible opportunities available for small businesses to make a lasting impact. With insights from the U.S. Small Business Administration , U.S. Commercial Service , Internal Revenue Service , MoveAmerica APEX Accelerator and the Better Business Bureau , the wealth of opportunities available to small businesses through government partnerships is something we should all be excited about. I’m passionate about building partnerships that will increase awareness of these life-changing opportunities and resources. By working together, we can create even more impactful growth for our communities. A few of our recent achievements at Actually Clean LLC : *Facilitated the Going PRO Talent Fund for two consecutive years. *Created over 35 certified positions in Detroit, paying $20-$35/hr with paid training and international cleaning certifications. *Secured $76,000 in grants awarded to other small businesses. *Launched our first DOL-approved apprenticeship program on June 6, 2024. *Preparing to launch an Autonomous Robot Floor Technician program that will offer $50/hr roles, with the goal of establishing the first DOL-recognized apprenticeship for this innovative field. The journey ahead is promising, and I’m eager to explore how we can collaborate to bring more of these transformative opportunities to life. Aligned to our People Powered Infrastructure campaign, NSC and BLU plans to use the momentum from this event to build support for federal and state investments in pre-apprenticeships and industry sector partnerships.
