The development of specialized language models (SLMs) tailored for students with learning difficulties, including those with special educational needs (SEN), is a significant advancement in education and mental health awareness. These SLM programs not only benefit children but also extend their impact to adults, offering valuable insights into mental health and support resources. Generative AI and SLM initiatives demonstrate promising potential in improving healthcare, wellness, and emotional intelligence. Notably, Kuldeep Kohli and XHAL have showcased the capabilities of large language models (LLMs) in this realm. The integration of SLMs further refines this technology, providing a more personalized and effective educational approach for individuals with diverse learning needs. By leveraging the power of SLMs, we are witnessing a transformative shift in how education and mental health support are delivered, paving the way for a more inclusive and informed society. #AIsupportingADHD #AIsupportingmentalhealth #SpecialiseLearningmodelsSLM #SENteachers, #SENsaupportteachers

In today's writing landscape, the initial draft often stands as the final version due to time constraints, leaving students with learning disabilities at a disadvantage regarding revision. However, artificial intelligence (AI) allows individuals to benefit from multiple drafts and editing assistance. With AI technology, individuals can produce their first draft and then utilize AI to generate a second draft based on their writing before editing for a third iteration. While there is often apprehension surrounding #AI in educational settings, particularly regarding its impact on students, it is vital to recognize the potential benefits of leveraging this technology. Specifically for children and individuals facing challenges associated with specific learning disabilities such as dyslexia, attention deficit disorder, and autism spectrum disorders, AI-based assistive, #robots, and application-based tools offer valuable support by providing real-world examples that aid understanding while alleviating educators from spending excessive time creating tailored materials. By utilizing AI, individuals are empowered to identify issues within their writing and enhance their skills over time through refined goals and plagiarism checks integrated into the process. Nevertheless, it remains essential for teachers and professors to continue instructing students on aspects such as tone development in writing style along with refining technical proficiency through manual editing processes. #digitalmentalhealth #mentalhealth #psychology #psychologicalwellbeing #psychologyadviser #neurodevelopmentaldisorder #personalization
