The age-old question: When it comes to blast-resistant buildings, should you go with concrete or steel? Luckily that’s what our recent whitepaper is all about! >>Steel Sandwich Panels: Light, cost-effective for lower blast rates, but not ideal for high blast rates. Penetrations can be installed after placement which makes it more flexible. >>Precast Concrete: Best for higher blast rates with better economic viability and a lower carbon footprint at higher pressures but penetrations need to be cut before installation. >>In-Situ Concrete: Strong and reliable, but labor-intensive and not the easiest to install in all climates.
