On Conway’s Law Parnas made a similar observation in 1972 in the area of product development, On the Criteria To Be Used in Decomposing Systems into Modules To reduce coordination, one needs to decompose systems into modules. His criteria to decompose is based on hiding design decisions instead of the back-then commonly accepted decomposition based on flowcharts. Note: in the top 10 papers any software engineer should read, Parnas' paper is at the top at the first position. #conwayslaw https://lnkd.in/e64PadHi
