Two of our 2024 Social Connectedness Fellows, Kenny Butler and Joe Schwartz, have done incredible work exploring the impacts of Inside-Out’s formerly incarcerated coaches. Their research reflects the core of social connectedness, and we’re excited to see them share their findings. Don’t miss this important conversation!
Join us this Wednesday - please share with your network! The Samuel Centre for Social Connectedness provides fellowships each summer for people around the world who are working in varying social justice pursuits. This year, two of our Inside-Out Coaches — Kenny Butler and Joe Schwartz — were chosen for this highly-regarded fellowship opportunity. They focused their research on the impact on instructors of the involvement of Inside-Out’s formerly-incarcerated coaches through our virtual Inside-Out Instructor Trainings, as well as the impact on the coaches themselves of this involvement. So much of what Inside-Out does has to do with social connectedness, so that provides the undergirding for both research projects. Zoom Link: https://lnkd.in/e7sf7kWb We are excited to provide Kenny and Joe the space to share their research findings with the Inside-Out network through a Zoom Conversation, being held THIS Wednesday (November 20th), from 3:00pm to 4:15pm EST. All are welcome! Please feel free to share this information with anyone who may be interested in attending.
