What a week it’s been, hasn’t it? With everything going on around us, it’s easy to feel the pressure. But amid all the chaos, I’ve been reminding myself of one thing that keeps me grounded – the importance of putting in my best in all I do no matter what.
Whether it’s in my work, the training I offer, or how I engage with people, I always strive to deliver the best. Quality isn’t just about the result; it’s about creating meaningful impact in every moment, no matter how big or small.
How do you ensure quality in your own life, especially with everything happening around us?

35: Founded my AI tool Elevatix valued $8.5M.
My No. 1 tip to grow in your career.
Take action.
I joined Playtika because I was
- Seeking a new opportunity
- Craving a technical challenge
- Desiring a higher level of influence
I knew the value I brought to the table!
And I took action.
I focused on delivering results,
Not pursuing high titles.
I was committed to creating a successful road-map.
Not complaining about 1/3 resources compared to other studios.
I aligned my technical vision to the growth of the business.
Not try to align the business to my vision.
Starting as Tech PO at Ceasars Casino..
Within 3 years, I was promoted:
”Lead of Technical Product Owners” across all studios.
It was given to me because of my results.
I didn’t have to ask for any position.
I received recognition on the impact of business growth.
At most companies this is how it works.
If you add value, the company will scale it.
Find a great company.
Take action.
And you will reach the top :)

Our 2nd quarter TGIF at OA Goc was one for the books! We kicked things off with a delicious breakfast at Penang Hill, soaking in the stunning views and fresh air. After enjoying the beauty of nature, we headed for a tasty lunch at Nando’s to fuel up for what came next—an exciting Escape Room challenge! Divided into 4 different teams, we solved mysteries, cracked codes, and unlocked doors—definitely putting our teamwork and creativity to the test!
But it’s more than just a day out. These TGIF events are all about bonding as a team, stepping out of the daily grind, and building stronger connections. Whether it’s a scenic adventure or a puzzle-solving challenge, every activity brings us closer, energizing us to work better together and drive growth. It’s not just about fun—it’s about growing as one team, united in purpose and passion!

My biggest not-a-surprise of the day is #Singtel. I'm not sure when I will learn to lower my expectations, but... it turns out that subscribing to the shiny new Max streaming platform through Singtel means the service will ONLY be available when I'm in Singapore. So the notion that there is universal access is grossly misleading. Now, it's true that the confirmation came from Singtel's 1688 hotline, so it could be wrong (wouldn't be the first time) but on the offchance that it is correct, it seems to me that paying direct on max.com for S$14.48 a month (or S$10.83 annual) is a much better idea than (a) figuring out HOW to get stuff through CAST; (b) the stress of the 1688 hotline, which is incapable of answering simple questions and won't even take the call without your ID number AND a one time pin; and then (c) not being able to access the Max from everywhere. Oh, and the Singtel price is S$14.48 (with no free period and no danger pay for having to deal with the hotline).
P.S.
#update So it turns out that there's a gap between what Max meant and what Singtel 1688 understood and, critically, is passing on to consumers like me who do actually call up and ask. According to WBD/Max, once you subscribe to Max through Singtel then you CAN actually travel with your Max streaming subscription. Can someone, anyone please tell Singtel?
P.S. The reason I call 1688 for general info is that Mr & Ms Every Person does not have access to the comms team at WBD. I call 1688 because that's the way everyone gets their info from Singtel -- and if everyone is being given poor info then I want to know. I don't want to be special. Thanks.
PPS. The moral of the story is JUST GO DIRECT. That's my Tuesday Two-Cents. You're welcome.
PPPS Update: Oh Lord. What a day. I spoke too soon on the "just go direct". It's not that simple. Short story - I still don't have Max and I won't have because my email address is registered in the U.S. and Max can't deal. Go figure. I give up. Quote Kenny Rogers: "You've got to know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em, know when to walk away, know when to run." Run.

After making its way to 65 countries globally, WE ARE NOW LIVE IN ASIA! Max launches as a direct-to-consumer brand this morning in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand.
With Asia's potential to become the biggest growth region for streaming, this marks the beginning of a truly special opportunity: to scale and supercharge if we play our cards right and continue to disrupt old practices and embrace change. We are on the right path to take this on with the most passionate fans for our stories and the most dedicated teams of people who are my wonderful colleagues working relentless hours to make this happen. I'm proud of how far we've come leading to this launch, with many more exciting plans (and challenges) to look forward to in 2025. #MaxAsia

I am glad and proud to work with Deovie Lentera H., Muhammad Fakry Gaffar Hakim, Frandi Andika, Farrel Jonathan Vickeldo, Ariel Stevano on Braincore.id's Driver Monitoring System. After careful consideration on all company project list that is provided by Bangkit Academy led by Google, Tokopedia, Gojek, & Traveloka, we chose to work on this project as this is the one that hits home the hardest. As someone who lived near the toll roads, I saw one too many accidents every now and then and most of them can be prevented if the driver is not drowsy.
For the duration of six weeks, I worked on developing and integrating the hardware, the software, and the supporting infrastructure. Working end-to-end is a very big challenge for me, as I came into this program hoping to learn more about machine learning development, which I did. However, I walked out of this capstone project understanding more about containerization with Docker, deployment with Google Cloud Platform, API development with FastAPI, ESP32 microcontroller programming with Arduino IDE, and so much more. It was a tough learning curve, but fun nonetheless!
I believe that the results of this capstone project, both the prototype and the research put into it, can be developed into a larger-scale project. By putting together cheap electronic sensors, a cloud-deployed model to give real-time inference, and a dashboard to monitor the driver's activities, we've shown that you don't need a million dollars for a DMS to keep both the driver and the streets safe. We are open for future collaborations with companies and individuals to continue developing this project so Indonesia's streets can be safer, for both the driver and everyone else.
