Using incorrect air pressure compromises the performance of any tire, particularly in the case of trucks. Improperly inflated tires pose safety risks and incur additional costs for the operator. Commercial vehicles, including trucks, trailers, buses, and coaches, pose unique challenges due to the diverse range of tasks they undertake and the fluctuating loads they carry throughout a typical operating day. Tires must facilitate safe vehicle operation under various conditions, ranging from full to empty loads, heavy to light payloads, and across different road surfaces and speeds. Air plays a critical role in tire function, providing the necessary support for the vehicle's weight. The tire and wheel assembly work together to maintain proper air pressure throughout the tire's lifespan. Without correct air pressure, tires are susceptible to various issues that compromise their performance and durability.

But on their own, their payload is severely limited. Trailers don’t have their own engines, but paired with the right truck, they significantly increase the total payload. Figure out which functions need trucks and which need trailers. Don’t expect trailers to do truck things.
