Our managing partner Tom Schoors was interviewed by Trends Tendances about our recent merger to A&O Shearman Belgium. Here are some of Tom's main take-aways about this transformative event in the industry: 🇺🇸 "This strategic merger provides a credible and significant platform in the US, allowing us to better advise Belgian companies on a global scale.” 🌍 "A&O Shearman will remain an integrated firm that offers an integrated global service. We’re not a franchise. That means everyone has an aligned interest: achieve the best result for our clients, whether the case is opened in Belgium, Paris or New York.” 🤖 "Innovation in the legal sector is essential. I am convinced that the firm that is the front runner will gain ground. We already launched Harvey, a legal-tech platform based on an improved version of OpenAI's GPT models, to support our work and enable us to work much more efficiently."
