Today’s Staff Spotlight features Glenn Pinder, Territory Sales Consultant for Pinder’s Security Products, A Division of Allmar. Glenn has been with Pinder’s for 26 years and when asked what he enjoys about working for the Allmar organization since 2022, he highlighted the “good leadership, safe and fair work environment, team spirit, development opportunities, and good values!” Glenn enjoys making a difference for clients in his role, particularly “the variety in dealing with clients in various sectors, the relationships with vendors, consultants, and coworkers, the challenges and problem-solving I get to assist with daily, whether it’s product selection, logistics in delivery, or various coordination.” However, “the reward is always the opportunity and ability to make a difference -- helping with solutions.” When asked what he most enjoys about our industry, he highlighted the constant evolution of maintaining the security and safety of both people and property, as well as the evolution of the business itself: "Having been in a family business with Pinder’s and now with Allmar, is having witnessed such progress in the last quarter-century!” Fun facts about Glenn: He enjoys RVing and playing cribbage. #Promotion #Marksman #DOO I try not to post daily, but there is so much exciting movement within Marksman Security currently. I would like to introduce Robert Cudaback as the Director of Operations for the State of Oklahoma. Mr. Cudaback began his career working in corrections, and then advanced on to a Law Enforcement career, before transitioning to security upon retirement. Please see the introduction from Robert Cudaback below: I have held the role of Sergeant and Lieutenant for the sheriff's department before achieving the role of Chief of Police for two different agencies. I have worked on many different cases and investigations, along with working on the drug enforcement task force which was one of my most memorable experiences. I have received numerous awards during my career including Police Chief of the year. After having a long great career in Law Enforcement I retired in 2008, I hunted and fished for a couple of years before deciding to take on a new challenge in security. While in the security industry I have worked at various places ranging from a refinery to wind farms, retail, and most recently the pharmaceutical industry. I have held various roles from security officer, Sergeant, Captain and now Director of Security for a pharmaceutical company in Norman, Ok. Working in the pharma industry for 16 years and being in charge of the security aspect of it, I dealt with several different state and federal agencies regarding regulations and security challenges that we face in the business. I am passionate about what I do and strive to be the best at every endeavor I take on. The one thing I am most proud of is figuring out how to develop a team, what makes them want to work for you and how do you keep them. Longevity is key to a successful team and being able to lead and guide them to become better not only as an officer but as a person and to help them excel in their career with the company. I have always said that I alone could not be successful without my team. Working for Marksman has been an outstanding opportunity for me. Their commitment to excellence with the standards they set, helps set them apart from the rest of the industry. I am proud to continue my career helping them build the brand in our Oklahoma market, and I see great things in our future as we continue to reach new heights in the security market. One of my favorite sayings is that when one team member fails, we all fail as a team. This holds true for success also and building a strong and resilient security team. The security industry is rapidly expanding and with all the new technology advances it's going to be an exciting time to be a part of it. Outside of work, I am a husband, father and grandfather of 14 wonderful grandkids. When I am not working I like to hunt, fish and play golf in my spare time.

A Lesson from the Lounge: Why Policing and Sales Aren't as Different as You Think Sitting in the cigar lounge the other day, I couldn't help but draw a parallel between the smooth, deliberate way we enjoy a good cigar and the way I transitioned from policing to B2B sales. Much like choosing the right cigar—finding the right fit in sales requires patience, attention to detail, and knowing how to read the room. After 16 years of chasing criminals, I can tell you that the skills we develop as Officers—problem-solving, staying calm under pressure, and building trust (just to name a few)—translate perfectly into sales. And just like a great cigar, success in sales takes time to savor and appreciate. To my fellow Officers thinking about a career shift, here’s the key takeaway from the lounge: The transition might seem daunting, but if I can do it, you can too. The rewards are just as rich—minus the paperwork. #CareerChange #PoliceToSales #LessonsFromTheLounge #sales
