Since April, I’ve been running an AI workshop with some colleagues (Tom Green, Julie Heumüller, Kseniya (Oxana) Stepanova, Tereza Menclová) at MetaDesign, exploring various AI tools and platforms. Last week, we held a special session – the AI Movie Night Halloween Edition – where we discussed the latest advancements in AI-generated video.   You might remember last year’s infamous (and hilariously spooky) ‘spaghetti-eating Will Smith’ AI video. But what's even spookier now is how much AI video has evolved since then. We've curated a selection of some of the most impressive recent AI video clips, and we’re excited to share our findings with the LinkedIn community! 👉 Just drop me a PM, and I’ll send you the link to our presentation.   We also experimented with #Runway, #Lumalabs, and #Hailuoai to create a haunting MetaDesign invitation trailer ourselves.   Our takeaway so far? While the technology still has room to grow, and current creators rely on some clever tricks to produce films, music videos, and ads, the momentum is building fast. Pioneering artists like #TheDorBrothers, #Katsukokoiso, #niceaunties, #PaulTrillo, and #walledcity_wildest_dreams have already reserved their seats on the AI express, but there’s definitely still room on board.
