What do the green and red buoys mean? While the colors remain the same worldwide, the orientation of the buoys differs from region to region. In Region B areas, like North America, green buoys have a can top and indicate the port side (left) while the red buoys have a nun top indicating the starboard side (right) when returning from open water. Need channel markers? Our buoys come in channel marker configurations: https://bit.ly/3TUZpQ1 #sealiteusa #knowyourbuoy #channelmarkers #buoys #inlandwaterways #marinesafety #safeboating

Keep finding twigs, grass, leaves, hair or other nesting materials beneath your chimney or in your fire grate? 👀 These are the most common signs that birds are nesting on your property... Having a chimney cage or cowl installed will restrict the birds’ access and they won’t be able to land and roost, which means they’ll subsequently look for somewhere else. Failure to do so will almost certainly mean the birds will return! If you want to know more about our bird control solutions, simply call us on 01752 929292, email info@falcones.co.uk or complete the form on our website https://bit.ly/48uHiGT and we’ll get back to you. falcon #falconry #birdcontrol #birdmanagement #birdcontroldevon #pestcontrol #specialistcleaning #highlevelcleaning #wildlifemanagement

Stonefly nymphs can be used to catch trout throughout the entire year. Many stonefly species spend two to four years as nymphs in the bottom of the river, acting as the main forage for many trout species, even during the winter. When fishing stonefly patterns before they begin to migrate to the edges of the river, it’s best to use smaller, more discrete fly patterns.

We have released 28 wildcats into the Cairngorms National Park since 2023. Prior to release, each wildcat was fitted with a GPS-radio collar, allowing the field team to track their movements 🐾 The 'accelerometer' is a crucial element of these collars, sensing activity and subsequently informing the collars when the wildcats are active or at rest. Using an accelerometer significantly increases the life-expectancy of the collars and provides some unique insights into the lives of released wildcats. Find out more ➡ https://lnkd.in/ekQ3zsQP

Upon closer inspection, the American Pipit is subtly attractive, its grayish-brown upperparts contrasting with warm buffy to orange-pink flanks and belly, embellished by various amounts of darker streaking. Its dark tail has white outer feathers. It has a short, slender bill, long legs, and elongated hind claws, a feature found in many other ground-dwelling birds such as the Lapland Longspur and Horned Lark. https://lnkd.in/eDEU6YaP

If you are thinking about planting a privacy hedge this spring, you might want to consider these Private Jet Cedars we grow from Bloomin Easy. These cedars are so fast growing you would think they burn jet fuel! Grown in zone 3-7 in full to part sun these cedars grow 15-20ft tall and 4-5ft wide. Cedar privacy hedges make a great alternative to building a fence. Some of the many benefits of a cedar hedge include: a sound barrier, commonly there is no permit needed to install, grows taller than the fence height limit bylaw, grows bigger over the years and adds more green to your yard. We currently only grow these in a 2 gallon pot size #landscape #cedars @bloomineasy
