Yes, we do believe there's a win-win scenario here. We're going to have to fight hard for it on a scale that matches the severity of global warming.
Seaspiracy is a Netflix documentary, worth watching.
I believe that there is an opportunity for synergistic benefits in shared planning and deployment of sustainable technology when looking at the regenerative potential of our offshore realm. Offshore wind is about to explode in the US and this has to be done to deal with the global warning crisis. It is our choice as to whether this is a sole platform opportunity or a common vehicle for a regeneration of the species we have decimated with our non-sustainable fisheries activities globally. Always better to do more than one thing at a time and also to get the biggest bang for the buck in the use of those public lands and waters they are utilizing. I work with algae, in terrestrial convergent utility applications. In a past life I pursued something called Ocean Ranch, Which became Cape Wind and has lead to the above boom. Been there done that, so to speak. We have a responsibility to our natural world order to give back when we take.
Totally agree take care of Mother Earth and she will take care of us.

3ySean Foorman, You're absolutely right about there being a win-win opportunity for business and the environment in open ocean aquaculture. IMO, algae (kelp) cultivation is key to success.
