Tearing while on the computer or laptop can be a sign of dry eyes. Did you know our blink rate decreases when we stare at a digital screen? Blinking helps keep the eyes healthy and comfortable by cleaning and lubricating the ocular surface with each blink. When we blink less frequently, the eyes can become irritated and dry. #eyeandi #eyecare #eyehealth #dryeyes #healthyeyes #nyc #eyedoctor

Movement screens, particularly self-assessment screens, provide individuals with valuable insight into how they move. These assessments can reveal underlying issues that might have previously gone unnoticed. In this case, balance and toe touch were identified as areas needing improvement. However, the squat, shoulder, and rotation movements were good, indicating that the focus should be on enhancing motor control and stability. Unfortunately, these issues might be exacerbated by flat feet. Performing deep knee bends is an excellent activity for strengthening the feet, which can improve feedback throughout the kinetic chain. This will not only enhance balance but also improve toe touch. Give our self-screen a try for yourself! https://lnkd.in/gSu9ybTn

Are you working in the Zone? We know that one's posture by the computer can determine whether you develop pain. In fact, incorrect posture by the computer increases the risk of developing pain in the neck, shoulders, or arms. Correct posture increases the chances of avoiding or alleviating repetitive strain injuries – such as mouse arm (RSI).To prevent strain injuries, it is crucial to keep the hands centered, inside your shoulders. When using a centered pointing device, such as Mousetrapper, your arms and hands are placed in a relaxed and ergonomic position that reduces the risk of strain injuries. By working in the centered position, what we call the Zone, you can avoid unnecessary pain.
