A leading private NGO 🤝 dedicated to enhancing food sector competitiveness and quality standards, CNTA partners with industry players to tackle new challenges and help them excel in the market. 🚀 As part of FEASTS, CNTA is focused on identifying synergies with other projects and initiatives. Following on from that, it will design and implement activities to ensure transfer of knowledge and best practices.💡Leveraging existing expertise and fostering collaboration, FEASTS will advance the science of cultured meat and share discoveries with a wide group of researchers, institutions and food value chain actors, charting the course for scaling up results. We are pretty passionate about connecting with consumers and taking some control of the narrative around beef, agriculture and food production. Sharing what we do through other social media platforms. Business - made up of the daily and weekly operational tasks which we share regularly, with the intent to connect consumers with food production …. and then there is the other side of business. The last few weeks - 1. Learning about Artificial intelligence and how to use in business. BOOM - learn this. Change is inevitable- will happen with or without us. 2. Trade trip to Singapore to explore burger and beef market. Loads of food. Challenging space, partner would be key. So cultural. Exploring opportunity. 3. Agforce Conference - 25 years of representing Queensland farmers under the theme ‘Back the Bush.’ BOOM - insightful, great speakers - Wayne Bennet wisdom! So good. Actually, better than good - exceptional. I’ll share more later. 4. On the ‘drive’ literally attending meetings for key distribution partners for FD Burgers. Connecting city and country through food! Great visit to Rum City Foods in Bundaberg. Caught up with a few more too. 🤞 we can hook up with partners who share our passion. 5. 6.30am family business meeting on Teams reviewing traction items and planning ahead. 24 Apr 2024: Opening of the Nurasa Food Tech Innovation Centre (FTIC) Kudos to Nurasa, Temasek, A*STAR - Agency for Science, Technology and Research, A*STAR Singapore Institute of Food and Biotechnology Innovation (SIFBI) and innovation ecosystem partners! FTIC will harness Singapore’s innovation and technology that supports national priorities, building on the Industry Transformation Map (ITM) for the Food Manufacturing and Singapore Food Story R&D programme. DPM Heng Swee Keat highlights 3 key points where Singapore can better harness our food ecosystem to both meet our national goals and support wider regional needs: 1) Reduction of costs of innovation and lower barriers to entry for new ideas through meaningful Public-Private-Partnerships, to allow for waves of breakthroughs and creating a differentiating edge. 2) Development of a broad and holistic bench of talent for the food sector, including in food science, technology, and innovation. 3) Singapore’s food innovation ecosystem must build bridges and facilitate connections with the rest of Asia, so as to catalyse innovations with regional impact. "Innovation is an important enabler in building a better, healthier and more sustainable world, including a future with greater food security. This Food Tech Innovation Centre is a good example of how our ecosystem can play as “Team Singapore”. The provision of shared infrastructure can bring good people and great ideas together.
