🚢🌊 Breaking Waves & Building Futures! 🌊🚢 MT Højgaard Denmark has just completed the third phase of future-proofing the Port of Roenne, making it even more unstoppable in the Baltic Sea! With an expanded 100,000 m² area, we've added new infrastructure and enhancements—because who doesn’t need a larger turning basin to navigate the waves of success? 💡 Not to mention, we’ve also built a multi-functional quay and done some serious dredging. It’s all part of making sure Bornholm’s primary commercial port stays "ahead of the tide" 🌊—and, of course, continues to be a major hub for those massive wind turbines. 🌬️⚡ Here’s to keeping the Port of Roenne strong, steady, and always on course! 🛳️🔧 #PortOfRoenne #FutureProofing #WindTurbines #InnovationInInfrastructure #ConstructionGoals #BiggerBetterStronger #MTHøjgaard

【New article & video released by Reuters Plus !】 "That is the reason why we decided to choose our position as a first mover". Takeshi Hashimoto, CEO of Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, and Tatsuro Watanabe, CSuO sends a strong message in the video, which is to be one of the first movers to lead the maritime industry towards decarbonization by utilizing the power of wind. To materialize it, he also refers to the necessity of setting up coordination and collaboration with various industries. <Article & Video_“THE WIND IN ITS SAILS”> https://lnkd.in/ghyTg4yQ This article and video also covers our initiatives on Environmental Vision 2.2 towards net-zero, such as introducing more LNG-fuel vessels, Wind Challenger, Wind Hunter, etc. Although it's a big challenge for all the industries, let's keep moving on! Not really a going back in time to the times when sailing had a romantic meaning, but a fascinating development nevertheless. I wonder how much of the old sailing know-how will be necessary to operate such vessels. What is important is the ability to harvest available wind energy and to reduce the emissions. I look forward to see these ships in operation; it would be a great achievement!!! #windenergy #shippingindustry #sailing #emissionsreduction #innovation
