💡 Here's a breakdown of x3 problems that early-stage Startup Founders face when looking to scale (...the video is better than the below text) ———————————— Throughout my 10+ years working in Recruitment, I've worked with (and engaged with) a lot of Startup Founders... Especially early-stage Startup Founders! Hiring has obviously been a major focus of those conversations (I am a Recruiter after all), and one of the main topics has been around challenges... In other words - what are the core challenges that Founders face when hiring? I've summarised the most common challenges below: 1️⃣ Using external support 2️⃣ Building an in-house team 3️⃣ Relying on Founder-led hiring (The video breaks these challenges down in more detail) Have I missed anything? 🚨 Note - I've deliberately focused on 'hiring methods' (i.e. how to hire), and not hiring practices once you've selected those methods (e.g. EVP, branding, process creation etc.) 🚨 #recruitment #talentacquisition #startups

My first post as a volunteer on the Startup Boston content team. Working with a few Pre-seed/Seed and Series A companies, I am noticing that founders who actively collaborate with me are experiencing the most success. Beyond presenting qualified candidates, I find immense joy in advising hiring managers (in this case #founders) and guiding them through the process. I call it being intentional about building the ideal founding team together. #startup #intentionalinclusion #collaboration #founders #recruitingpartner #startupsuccess https://lnkd.in/eJ2fps7Y

High-growth startups are a unique ecosystem—fast-paced, dynamic, and incredibly demanding. Not everyone is cut out for this intense environment, and that's perfectly okay. The secret to hiring and building an exceptional team? Radical transparency and focussing on culture fit. Be clear about expectations while hiring. High-intensity work is part of the startup DNA. When you communicate this upfront, you're doing both the candidate and your organization a favor. No one likes early attrition! The right candidates don't just tolerate the startup grind—they thrive on it. Look for individuals whose energy, passion, and life stage align with your company's rhythm. #StartupLife #TalentAcquisition

How do founders approach hiring? 🤔 We’ve been there. We know how hard it can be to design, build and grow your product or service offering. Harder still, to hire and manage the right team. 😮 If we're honest, our Rafiki.works team STILL finds it hard. But we're lucky... Five of our full-time or fractional team members are founders themselves. Nearly half of the fractional experts we've placed on clients are founders. Everything we're building and embedding into our product is being built out of necessity, and for internal use first ✅ Here’s how Rafiki can help you, as a founder, identify your talent requirements and de-risk your startup growth through fractional talent solutions 🌱 #hrtech #startupgrowth #freelancework #fractionalteams
