New and shiny toys are always the best, right? 🤩 But what about those Tamagotchis we threw in a drawer never to be seen again? Not fair - especially to the Tamagotchis! 🐾 It’s the same with business - we get so caught up in chasing the next big thing that sometimes we forget to pause and appreciate what we’ve already achieved. Last year, the 2024 winter season was always going to be a busy time for us, and, to be honest, I’m known for moving swiftly forward into the summer with all our plans for Festivall Season without a pause for thought ☀️ That’s why we introduced the office closure at the end of January - to wrap up winter, unwind, and then dive back into February with future planning. After 2 weeks off, I’m not fully embracing the closure but trust my team are living their best lives right now! The big finale for our week closure arrives tomorrow in the form of TOG’s End of Season Party to celebrate all our staff, team, clients, and everyone who’s been a part of this amazing ride 🙏 Tomorrow, we’ll kick off the festivities to honour the hard work, dedication, and teamwork that made this season so special 🎉 But that’s not before we have a Task (or two) to Master this evening with some of our on-site leads ✉️ our time starts now... #CelebrationTime #Grateful #EndOfSeason #Teamwork #Community #Leadership #MovingForward

Today, I had the joy of hosting a Christmas party for my team at home. It was incredible to see everyone make the effort to drive a long way, not for a meeting or a deadline, but simply to connect. As we laughed, reminisced about our team's history, and reflected on how far we’ve come, it struck me: in the whirlwind of everyday tasks and deadlines, we rarely go beyond a quick “Hi, how’s it going?” Moments like these remind me why our work matters—not just the what we do but the who we do it with. These are the people who make long days feel lighter, who collaborate selflessly, and who embody the “no jerk policy” that has helped our culture thrive, even as we grow exponentially. Seeing smiles across the room instead of heads buried in laptops was a refreshing change. It reaffirmed that it’s people and connections that turn hard work into something fulfilling. So, this holiday season, I encourage everyone to pause. Take time to celebrate your wins, reflect on your journey, and connect with your teams—not just as colleagues, but as humans. Because at the end of the day, there’s no “I” in team, and the success of any organization is built on the strength of its people working together. Happy Holidays, everyone! Let’s keep the spirit of connection alive. 🎉✨

Sadly, I have seen this as well.. Have fun, let hair down, connect and have good experiences with your coworkers, team mates and management, however... Don't Throw your name and career away... Dress appropriately as well no one wants to see what is kept for intimate settings at your Christmas work function. Be mindful that it is a Christmas company function and there are codes of or unwritten rules for behavior. #justsaying
How was your year end/ Christmas function? 🤩 #yearendparty #yearend #christmasparty
