TOMORROW is the last day to VOTE for our SXSW Panel proposal: Ready to Work: How Abortion Access Builds a Strong Workforce VOTE HERE: https://lnkd.in/g9VNRuvW Abortion access is good for business. Women make up over half of the college-educated labor force, but barriers to reproductive care stop them from fully participating in the workforce. Abortion bans cost state economies an average of $173B/yr nationally by reducing labor participation, earnings levels, and increasing turnover and time off for women of reproductive age. The real costs are likely higher now as 21 states and counting restrict abortion. This panel examines how employers can invest in the workforce of today and the future by meaningfully and creatively expanding abortion access.
