The day after my retirement ceremony, I received an official offer for a federal position with the Navy in acquisitions security, and decided to accept. Can't wait to start this new chapter in my life. The details seems right up my alley, and I get to continue supporting my brothers and sisters in the DoD. Win/win. -You will analyze, develop, and evaluate acquisition, intelligence, and security policies to make recommendations, resolve complex issues, coordinate organizational direction, improve effectiveness of technology and program protection. -You will support program personnel by planning for and assisting in integrating the security disciplines (physical security, operations security, industrial security, etc.) into other technology and program protection activities -You will identify enhanced protections and countermeasures to migrate risk to program information, and technologies throughout the acquisition life cycle -You will publish assessment lessons learned, notable areas of concern, deficiencies, vulnerabilities, and provide the PM recommendations to mitigate the risk of compromise.
