Inspired by this year’s #ClimateWeekNYC theme, “It’s time,” Stronger Stories partnered with Global Washington and The Hunger Project to dive into the power of storytelling to drive behavior change - with a focus on climate action. 📽️ Missed the webinar? We also uncovered why some stories fall short and revealed three secrets behind those that truly change minds and behaviors: 💡 Secret 1: Diversify the values you appeal to, attracting a larger audience 🎬 Secret 2: Choose your story type and simplify the plot (hint: avoid tragedy story types) o 🌟 Secret 3: Make your audience the hero, and be the mentor. One of the standout moments was input from Jenna Recuber towards the end of the webinar, where she shared her reflections on storytelling to build belief in creating a world without hunger. With 75+ attendees, Guy Pattison, Will Hill and I ran out of time to address all the questions — but we care deeply about this topic and will always make time to help.
