Do you have a high contribution score? From the name you may think the more you contribute, the higher your score is, but it can actually be the opposite depending on the value of what you are saying. “If their previous contributions were valuable, everyone in the room would stop and lean in. But if they developed a low contribution score, because they continuously talked for the sake of talking, every time they opened their mouth, people would instantly dismiss their idea.” Something to think about in your meetings today!
What's your Contribution Score? Steven Bartlett

𝐒𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝐓𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐁𝐢𝐠 𝐆𝐨𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰 Ever faced a goal that felt impossible at first? We’ve all been there. The key to turning the impossible into reality lies in consistency. But why is #consistency so crucial? Because it’s not just about making progress—it’s about building habits, creating momentum, and fostering resilience. 𝐄𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥, 𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝐰𝐞 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐞. 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐚 𝐝𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐨 𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭, 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐮𝐬 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐢𝐠 𝐠𝐨𝐚𝐥𝐬. Consider the journey of 𝐉.𝐊. 𝐑𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠, who started writing “Harry Potter” in cafes while facing numerous rejections before achieving literary success! Or 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐭 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐧𝐞𝐲, who began with small animations before creating an entertainment empire. Their stories remind us that monumental achievements often start with small, consistent efforts. Moreover, the power of compounding plays a significant role. Just like in finance, where small investments grow exponentially over time, our consistent efforts compound, leading to significant progress and success. Working on small steps helps us avoid feeling overwhelmed. By focusing on manageable tasks, we maintain our motivation and steadily progress towards our goals. As the great Vince Lombardi once said, “𝑰𝒕’𝒔 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒈𝒆𝒕 𝒌𝒏𝒐𝒄𝒌𝒆𝒅 𝒅𝒐𝒘𝒏, 𝒊𝒕’𝒔 𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒈𝒆𝒕 𝒖𝒑.” So remember, every small effort counts, and together, they lead to monumental success.

I've quit many things countless times. There's a growth phase very few survive: → The one where you're doing everything right. → Following every expert's advice. → Putting in all the work. But nothing seems to change. → I used to think I was doing something wrong. → That maybe I wasn't cut out for it. → That winning wasn't for me. Until I learned the truth: This phase is part of every beginning. This phase is the real test. Here's what nobody tells you: → Progress hides beneath the surface → Results always lag behind reality → Then breakthroughs explode Think about it: → How many builders stop right before momentum hits? → How many quit the gym right before visible results? → How many writers give up before post 100? They all quit during the same phase: The gap between effort and results. This is where winners are made. Where legends are born. Where mediocre ones quit. Your path forward: → Build what others can't see → Show up when others quit → Trust what others doubt Most people will quit. But you're different. You're still reading this. That's how I know you'll make it. /cc

Reflecting during my Sunday run yesterday, I keep coming back to this idea of limits versus being limitless. Here's the concept… ➡️what we think, believe, and ultimately how we act, shaping our results. ➡️the messages we absorb and repeat to ourselves can influence our beliefs, both positively and negatively. What stories are we telling ourselves? Are they rooted in fear, in false evidence appearing real? What if we flipped those narratives? What if we acknowledged our fears but still pushed forward, taking small steps towards our goals? Whether it's starting a business, saving for financial independence, or writing a book, the journey is about embracing the process, including failures and setbacks. There's often stigma attached to making mistakes, but they are essential for growth and development. 💡 It's through adversity and challenges that we truly grow. It's about adopting a growth mindset, where we see setbacks as opportunities for learning and creativity. Let's break free from the limits we impose on ourselves and strive for limitless possibilities. 🌟 # runningreflections
