Great summary of how Mediciad and Child Welfare can work collaboratively. It is so encouraging to hear about the efforts CA has enacted to ensuring they are moving upstream and focusing on prevention and social drivers of health, offering integrated whole person care, and establishing strong data collection and sharing opportunities to measure effectiveness. Ensuring youth stay with family or other familiar adults will positively contribute to their life long health and aligning financial incentives to ensure caregivers are compensated will reduce stress and ensure family’s needs are met. Looking forward to seeing the results soon.
