The common denominator to most small business failures is lack of #Marketing. I see it all the time. A restaurant closes and my first thought is "why did I never hear from them?" or their Facebook/Instagram pages haven't had a post in months or years. Whether you operate a #Forklift dealership, a hair #Salon or #Restaurant, staying Top of Mind Awareness in your markets, require your presence on a regular basis. It's literally the most important thing you'll do (besides pay your taxes). Get email addresses, email them specials, text them specials on their birthdays, set Facebook geographic ads to your posts...but do something! #Marketing #SocialMedia #LouisvilleMarketing #eMailMarketing

How do I justify my prices? I've been asked this question a few times recently. It's a question of how you communicate the value and benefits of your products and services. For example, even if you're buying something as simple as a tin of baked beans, you can choose the budget beans or the premium brand beans. It's down to a question of whether you see and taste in this case, the value of paying significantly more for the premium beans. The question of pricing and value can be even more challenging if you're selling your services and your time. If you're charging more than others in your market you need to be able to tell customers why you are and why you're worth it. I've put together a short, quick read on how you can communicate your value and justify your prices. https://bit.ly/4acccVN

With the economy in not such a great place right now, quilt and sewing shop owners need to find ways to entice consumers to buy from them in order to stay in business. But with money so tight, even they don't always have the capital gains to do that. Here are some Low Cost / No Cost ways to advertise and get customers in your shop buying from you. Let me know what you think. Have you done any of these, or something similar? Would you consider doing any of these ideas? Be sure to read the video description for some BONUS IDEAS that were not talked about in the video ;)

I did an assessment for a food brand and here was their biggest obstacle: Their whole business is built around promotions. Many businesses are built around promos but there's still a heavy evergreen component to their business that allows each promo to be meaningful. If your brand is 100% promos with little to no evergreen, here's what I would do: 1. Find the front end offer to get your dream customer. The question to answer is "What's the offer that will get the highest lifetime value while breakeven on the first transaction?" This will require testing at least 5 offers; don't stop on the first. 2. Set targets. People say "know your numbers" but you have to design your business to know if you're hitting them. Set targets for: - Revenue - Net profit - Net profit % - CPA first time customers - Average order value for first time customers - Conversion rate for first time customers - MER / ROAS business wide - Spend There are more metrics but these should help get you started. 3. Get everyone on the team to commit. Promos are great for waves of cash but it can be feast or famine if multiple promos don't work. Everyone needs to know the importance of making evergreen work so promos become even more successful.
