Creating a company culture that your employees love and respect is no easy feat. But when you get it right, the benefits are immeasurable. A strong culture boosts productivity, employee satisfaction, and becomes a magnet for top talent. Here's a simple roadmap on how to get started 👇🏾 1. Define your core values 🎯 Start by identifying what truly matters to your organization. Is it innovation? Teamwork? Creativity? Dedication to your customers/clients? Pro tip 💡: Involve your team in this process. Their input ensures buy-in and helps everyone feel involved. 2. Practice what you preach🗣️: Don't just talk about your values, put them into action. You can do that by recognizing employees who embody these values, aligning every company decision with your core principles, and integrating your company values into your performance reviews. 3. Leave room for open communication, this could mean regular town halls for company-wide updates, creating anonymous surveys and feedback channels to ensure complete transparency, and encouraging managers and other company stakeholders to have frequent 1-on-1s with the team. Remeber, building a great culture isn't a one-time event—it's an ongoing journey. But if you get it right, you'll have a workplace that attracts top talent and keeps them engaged for the long haul🌟 What's one step you're taking to improve your company culture? "When we get feedback, chances are that insight is either helping us affirm something that we're doing really well, or it's helping us identify something where an improvement can be made. That is information. Information can deliver insight. And insight is economic value." - Quantum Workplace CEO, Greg Harris This is why feedback is so important. 👏👏👏 What are you doing with your employee listening strategy to make sure you're capturing the kind of information that drives insight and value?

The Olympics might be drawing to a close, but your employee listening muscles are just warming up… Are you familiar with the Start, Stop, Continue technique? It’s a simple but effective way to generate quality, actionable employee insights. It’s built around asking three core questions, which you can adapt to suit your business goals: 1. What should we start doing? EG. “What’s one process or practice we should start implementing to improve our work environment?” 2. What should we stop doing? EG. “Is there anything we should stop doing that’s hindering productivity or morale?” 3. What should we continue doing? EG. “Which current practices are working well that we should continue to support?” You can ask these questions directly, for example using Harkn’s ‘Questions’ feature on The Wall, or you can analyse the live dialogue you see on our platform and organise it into Start, Stop, Continue actions. However you use this technique, it will help you hear more of what really matters to your people and empower you to make changes that improve workplace culture and business operations. #HowDoYouHarkn? #employeefeedback #employeelistening #employeevoice #workplaceculture #learninganddevelopment #hrstrategy #internalcommunications #employeeexperience #culturechange #leadership #wellbeingatwork #listening #inclusion
