Wishing You a Merry and Green Christmas from Sanmish Energies. As the holiday season unfolds, we at Sanmish Energies extend our warmest greetings to all our customers, partners, and stakeholders. Christmas is a time of joy, celebration, and reflection, and we believe it aligns perfectly with our vision of fostering #sustainableenergy and eco-friendly solutions. But have you ever wondered how Christmas changed from “#Happy Christmas” to “#Merry Christmas”? The transition dates back to the Victorian era. While Happy Christmas was initially more common, the word merry gained prominence thanks to its cheerful and lively connotation. Charles Dickens’ iconic A Christmas Carol (1843) popularized “Merry Christmas,” capturing the essence of festive spirit and celebration. The term became deeply rooted in culture, especially through carols like We Wish You a Merry Christmas. Even today, “Happy Christmas” remains common in parts of England, but “Merry Christmas” resonates globally due to its association with #festivity and cheer—a beautiful reflection of the season’s energy! This Christmas, Let’s Make it Green! While Christmas fills our lives with joy, it’s also an opportunity to think about our impact on the planet. From #energyefficient decorations to waste reduction, every small step contributes to a #sustainablefuture. At Sanmish Energies, we are committed to driving #greenenergy solutions, empowering businesses and individuals to embrace cleaner energy alternatives like #CNG and #CBG. Here’s how we can align the festive spirit with sustainability: 1️⃣ Switch to Green Energy: Power your homes and businesses with renewable energy sources like #bioCNG to reduce carbon footprints. 2️⃣ Eco-Friendly Celebrations: Choose biodegradable decorations and #LEDlights to conserve energy. 3️⃣ Sustainable Gifting: Opt for eco-conscious presents, promoting minimal waste and maximum joy. By integrating these practices, we can celebrate the joy of Christmas while contributing to a #greenerplanet—a gift that benefits everyone! As 2024 comes to a close, let’s carry forward the spirit of Christmas into the new year by adopting sustainable practices in our daily lives. Together, we can make every season #merryandbright—powered by #cleanenergy! From all of us at Sanmish Energies, Merry Christmas and a Prosperous Green Year Ahead! Ankit Kohli

While many were gearing up for Christmas, in December, we joined forces with Climate Action Wales to spotlight the issue of overconsumption during the festive season. From the rise in (plastic!) decorations to buying new and increasing amounts of food waste, we wanted to inspire a greener approach.. Here’s how we did it: 💡 We teamed up with seven micro-influencers — each with highly engaged audiences — to create content that: ✅ Encourages sustainable habits ✅ Highlights the importance of second-hand shopping (and donating gifts *before* Christmas, not just after a winter clear out!) ✅ Helps reduce waste and promotes a circular economy From fashion and tech enthusiasts to family-focused and gardening creators, we helped spread the message across Wales that it’s possible to celebrate Christmas sustainably. ✨ The results? Over 50k video views and a reach of over 200k 😎 We’re excited for more collaborations soon! Until then, check out the inspiring content on #ClimateActionWales’ Instagram or get in touch if you need influencer marketing support 🌍

😎 We're still over the moon to say our work from Kendal Calling 2024 on the Leave Nothing But Memories campaign has been given a special shoutout in StandOut Multimedia's October Edition of StandOut Magazine for our efforts to reduce waste at the festival this summer! StandOut Magazine is an industry leading print and digital magazine for the live events industry, and you can read the article on by clicking this link: https://lnkd.in/ecjuEwhk What happened this year? 🤔 We help the team at From the Fields (the organisers of the festival) put together an impact strategy that focusses on increasing the positive impact of the festival! This summer's edition of Kendal Calling Festival ended with 98.9% of tents taken home by attendees, up from 98% in 2023, thanks to the ‘Leave Nothing But Memories’ campaign aimed at reducing waste. The sustainability initiatives introduced went beyond tent retention. The reusable cup scheme saw a 44% increase, with 22,500 cups returned to collection points, up from 15,300 in 2023. Partnering with Event Cup Solutions, the cups are washed using renewable energy and recycled when damaged. In a new move for 2024, with our help Kendal Calling also introduced food collection points across the campsites. These efforts resulted in 270 kilos of food being collected and distributed to local food banks, further reducing waste and supporting the community. #sustainableevents #liveevents #sustainability

Why Join Clean the World’s Hospitality Program? We are proud to partner with over 8,300 hotels worldwide to recycle soap and plastic bottled amenities that would otherwise end up in landfills. The soap we collect undergoes a rigorous process to be transformed into new bars, which are then distributed to communities in need, helping to combat hygiene-related diseases such as pneumonia and diarrhea – two of the leading causes of death among children under 5 years old. According to the World Health Organization, millions of young lives could be saved with access to bar soap and hygiene education. Yet, more than 2 million bars of partially used hotel soap are discarded every day in the United States alone. Read the testimonial from our proud partner, Six Senses Douro Valley in Portugal, below. Together, we can make the world a better place. 🌍 #Sustainability #ESG #CleantheWorld #Recycling #WasteReduction #SDGs #SixSenses #Circularity #HospitalityImpact
