April is recognized as Distracted Driving Awareness Month, a time dedicated to raising awareness about safe driving practices and reducing accidents on the road. During this month, companies can take proactive steps to ensure the safety of their employees and others on the road. This can include providing resources such as defensive driving courses, safety workshops, and access to educational materials on defensive driving techniques. Additionally, companies can implement policies that promote safe driving habits, such as discouraging distracted driving and encouraging regular vehicle maintenance. Distance, distance, distance, distance. I cannot emphasise enough. Distance. Since founding Frankie and Neeve's road safety academy with her partner Calvin Buckley I have done more driving miles than ever before. I am horrified to see how closely drivers follow each other on motorways. Absolutely leaving no time to see events, process them and react in a safe way. keeping a distance that allows this process keeps yourself and other road users safe. Distance.
