Senoko Energy’s Post

This year's Nithiah Nandan Award goes to Shirley Wan, Senior Analyst of Senoko's Energy Digital Information Technology Division (seen here receiving the certificate from Frederik Baerts, President & CEO of Senoko Energy. The annual Nithiah Nandan Award is named in honour of the fiery unionist and a former employee of Senoko Power Station. It recognises employees at Senoko Energy who demonstrated a passion for learning and the desire to constantly upgrade themselves. The late Nithiah Nandan advocated passionately for power plant workers - who were most daily rated in the late 1970's and 1980's - to upgrade themselves through continuous training so that they could make a better living. Shirley was given the Award for completing a 12-month Specialist Diploma in Cybersecurity. She was driven to overcome the challenges of juggling work, study and personal obligations due to her passion for the discipline, which she felt would help her become more effective in executing her role as part of the cybersecurity team. Congratulations to Shirley! #senokoenergy #energymarket #essentialservices #lifelonglearning #continuouslearning
