I’m pleased to share that The Sunday Times UK Best Places to Work Awards, powered by WorkL For Business, is being featured in The Times (and Sunday Times) this weekend.
WorkL for Business and The Sunday Times are now running the prestigious Best Places to Work Awards for the fourth year. This partnership has become a vital platform for recognising outstanding companies across the UK, and I couldn't be prouder of what we’ve achieved together so far.
In 2024, we surveyed over 500,000 employees across more than 500 organisations in 26 different industries. Through our dynamic dashboard, participating companies gained invaluable data—ranging from net promoter scores to employee engagement levels, all broken down by demographics. These insights have allowed companies not only to listen to their staff but also to act on their feedback, creating more inclusive, productive, and happier workplaces.
The Sunday Times Best Places to Work Awards has truly become a benchmark for excellence in employee experience. As we look ahead to 2025, the importance of workplace culture has never been greater. In the post-pandemic world, companies are facing new challenges, from redefining the office environment to reigniting the spark of collaboration. And yet, as The Sunday Times editor, Zoe Thomas, said: “It pays to have happy staff.”
By participating in this survey, companies send a powerful message: they care about their employees' well-being and opinions. Whether through offering family-friendly policies, implementing a four-day working week, or encouraging pets in the office, organisations are finding creative ways to keep their teams engaged.
I’m looking forward to seeing what 2025 holds for the awards, and I encourage every company to take part in this journey of learning, growth, and recognition. Together, we can continue to celebrate the workplaces that are making a real difference in the lives of their employees.
P.S. Don’t forget to pick up your copy of The Sunday Times this weekend to discover the highlights of this year's awards!
