Launching a startup is a marathon filled with obstacles and uncertainties. Over five years of working with product owners, I've compiled an anti-short list. The presence of any of these issues hinders development and, primarily, achieving Product Market Fit (PMF). After all, this is a crucial stage that can determine whether your product will soar or not. Here are 15 reasons where product owners most often get stuck: - Not understanding the target audience. - Incorrect positioning. - Lack of focus. - Ignoring user feedback. - Trying to scale before achieving PMF. - Insufficient hypothesis testing. - Choosing irrelevant promotion channels. - Lack of differentiation. - Insufficient funding. - Ineffective management of the team, processes, and resources. - Technological limitations. - Changes in market conditions. - Incorrect pricing. - Lack of skills or experience in key areas such as product development, marketing, and sales. - Absence of a clear business model. Understanding the problem is already half the battle. But what if you can't see these obstacles yourself? They can be so non-obvious that identifying them on your own can be difficult. For such cases, I developed the Product Success Scanner — a simple quiz that helps product owners identify hidden obstacles in their product's growth path. Take this simple quiz. It obliges you to nothing but will definitely add clarity on what needs to be "treated." And if you don't know or can't eliminate the found problems, you can consult with me, and we'll find a solution together. 👉 Take the 'Product Success Scanner' and start positive changes as soon as possible - https://lnkd.in/dn82ftsZ ______ I'm Serhii Huba. MVP (Minimum Viable Product) allows market validation over feature overload. Many companies waste resources on products that don't resonate. 💸 Successful launches come from understanding user needs and delivering value, not excess features. True growth stems from user-centric focus rather than product perfection. 💡
An MVP is your chance to have a conversation with the market Too many companies are chasing fully-baked products when they should really be chasing market validation. They pour countless hours and resources into building feature-rich platforms, only to discover their creation doesn't resonate with users. There's a real world shortage of truly successful launches. And we wish that wasn't the case. In our experience, the most innovative companies aren't always the ones with the most features. They're the ones that deeply understand their users' needs and prioritize delivering value above all else.💡 We understand the allure of bells and whistles. We applaud those who strive for product perfection, and we genuinely hope you achieve it. But the path to customer satisfaction and sustainable growth is rarely paved with excess features. At FlexibleSites, we believe in the power of the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) to cut through the noise and deliver results. It's about: - Validating your idea early on - Reducing risk and development costs 📉 - Accelerating time-to-market - Gathering invaluable user feedback - Building a product that truly resonates By focusing on the core features that truly matter, you can gain valuable insights, iterate rapidly, and build a product that truly resonates with your target audience. Partner with us to build an MVP that adapts to your evolving market, ensuring your product remains relevant and successful.
