🚜 Lab Setup Update: My Journey with Harvester Installation 🚜 Hope everyone is doing well and staying secure! 🔒 I wanted to share something super cool that I’ve been working on this week—installing and configuring Harvester. If you haven’t checked it out yet, Harvester is this awesome open-source Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI) solution that I’m using as a replacement for VMware. 🛠️ Step-by-Step Guide: For anyone interested in giving it a go, here’s the official Harvester installation guide I followed: https://lnkd.in/eTYW6wJV 🌟 What I Loved About It: 1. Easy Installation: Surprisingly straightforward to set up. 2. Versatility: Great for running multiple VMs and different storage solutions. 3. Much more flexible licensing model for PI tags to enable users to stand up new servers and allocate tags where they are needed using Connect to manage licensing. This will make it much easier to manage tags. The old licensing model was also an issue as tags could only be purchased in large chunks and couldn’t be moved around. This will allow users to apportion tags for smaller projects without having to plan large bulk purchases in advance. #AVEVAWorld
