🌟Hello Beautiful Souls 🌟 Don’t miss this week’s episode. It is a transformative podcast episode, where I had the privilege of diving deep into mindfulness practices with Gina Worful, Founder of Mastering Mindfulness Institute. Gina shared profound insights on overcoming cravings and regulating the nervous system: "When we're in fight or flight, all our awareness leaves our body, and it goes up into our mind. I'm not okay. I'm not safe. When we use the breath, we actually add oxygen to our lungs, which sends out signals to the body to lower cortisol, signaling safety." She emphasized the power of breath in calming cravings and reconnecting with our bodies: "I started doing this when I noticed I'd get an intense craving. I bring my hand to my heart, move my awareness down into my body, and take a slow breath. It helps me understand what's happening in the moment." Gina's approach to mindfulness offers practical tools for anyone seeking to cultivate awareness and manage cravings. Meditation is like sleep for the soul 🧘♀️ Just as our bodies and minds are rewired during sleep, meditation allows us to enter a state of being, letting go of ego and comparisons. Studies show that meditation can rewire our brain's synapses and gray matter. But it's not just about the physical changes - it's about consciously bringing that mindfulness into our relationships, leadership, and daily life💡 Living in a monastery taught @marclesser the profound connection between meditation and action. Listen to our conversation on how Zen practice will change your life on this week’s episode of the podcast 🎙️

In our fast-paced world, it’s easy to lose touch with our bodies. We become so caught up in our to-do lists, the noise, and the constant barrage of news that we forget to check in with ourselves. We forget to listen. We all do. The latest series of my weekly podcast, Daily Whispers, focuses on mind-body communication. I teach practical ways to reconnect with your body for a more centered and clear state of mind. This starts with building the habit of listening to your body's sensations—hunger, thirst, fatigue, and tension. These sensations are crucial updates that we often ignore until something goes wrong. By tuning in and making small shifts, we can restore balance and stability. This mindfulness practice helps us recognize both discomfort and well-being—feeling balanced, satisfied, present, and calm. Start listening to your body’s messages. Take note. Make adjustments. Over time, you’ll build a stronger connection and trust in your body. Remember, listening to our bodies is essential. Give it a try and share your experience! Daily Whispers: https://lnkd.in/e65fbp28
