Upgrading laundry equipment is EXPENSIVE. But you know what's MORE expensive than equipment? Laundry room LABOR. And it's not even close. Bigger washers process more laundry per hour, which means LESS time spent on labor. This Wisconsin Dells resort upgraded to (3) Girbau Industrial 255lb-Capacity Washers, which will cut their laundry room labor significantly over the next 15+ years. ps. For reference on this install... a full-size SUV weighs about 6,000lbs. Each of these washers weighs almost 10,000lbs so they're are not quite as easy to move around as the guys make it look! When I was the plant chief at Independent Linen, we had three 500 lb washer extractors. They handled everything that we didn’t put through the tunnel washer.
Very interesting video. I was noticing some small things in the video that make my safety minded "spidey senses" tingle. Be really careful with PPE and safe handling practices for rigging and transporting those exceptionally heavy washing machines!
Your post is very informative and fun. Great insight on the benefits of larger washers. Plus your people make it so easy to move
Awesome product, great plan and I also appreciate the erectors ability to mobilize and install the machine. Great talents!

5moHi Seth, I’m watching your video and thinking about how I would change a motor on one of our washers, given how closely they’re stacked. It might be easier to just pull the washer back off the pad. I enjoyed your video and wish you the best of luck with your new project! Best regards, Mike Buccieri asaplinen.com
