Building Successful ERP and CRM Teams for Customers & Partners

You shouldn't skip out on hiring a project manager and leave it to the implementation consultant for your Business Central implementation. Been seeing a rise in Project Management opportunities across the channel. Not due to backfills either which shows a healthy start at this time of the year. If you're practice is picking up projects or you're looking at self-implementing, you might want to think twice before only allocating an implementer on the project. One of the biggest reasons that come to mind is efficient decision making and facilitating a smoother workflow of communication. Imagine getting to a meeting and having to think back to what was discussed and determined in the last meeting. Your time and your consultant's time are wasted having to back track on progress. It's a common scenario I come across when an end user either tries to self implement or a practice decides to not allocate a resource like this to the project. If you'd like some guidance on whether it makes sense to hire or contract a Project Manager, my DMs are open!
