Jesse Clifford's journey is a testament to resilience and the power of support. When Kim Gonzalez, the CareerSource Suncoast Ticket to Work Representative, first reached out, Jesse was in a challenging place. She was out of work, receiving Social Security Disability (SSDI) benefits, and dedicating her time to caring for her grandmother. The thought of returning to the workforce was daunting, especially with the fear of losing her SSDI benefits. Despite her initial hesitation, Jesse's determination to improve her situation never wavered. When she felt ready to take that brave step back into employment, she reached out to Kim, still apprehensive about the potential loss of her benefits. Kim reassured Jesse that she could pursue her career aspirations without jeopardizing her benefits. Kim's guidance and belief in Jesse were pivotal. She provided essential resources, constant encouragement, and a steadfast belief in Jesse's potential. With Kim's referral, Jesse secured a position as a Revenue Specialist at the Florida Department of Revenue’s Child Support Enforcement Office. This opportunity became a turning point in Jesse's life. Today, Jesse's life is transformed. Her income has increased, her confidence has soared, and her overall well-being has significantly improved. Her story is a powerful reminder that the first step, though often the hardest, can lead to incredible transformations. Thanks to Kim and the dedicated Ticket to Work team, Jesse's journey into the unknown became a journey of empowerment and success. 🎄 ❄️ 🎅 ☃️ 🦌 Day 5 - Meet Andrew Quinn, Manager of our Temporary Finance Commerce & Industry Team. Andrew’s journey to Goodman Masson wasn’t exactly overnight. In fact, it was a slow burn over five years of building and nurturing relationships, staying in touch, and staying updated on opportunities within his GM network. What made the difference? Over time, a foundation of trust was built. Clear alignment on vision, shared expectations, and the opportunities to grow all clicked into place. The uncertainty was gradually removed, and when the right moment came for Andrew, he was informed, confident, and ready to make the leap. 🌟 According to Andrew, the flexibility and trust given to our people was the biggest surprise when he joined. 🌟 Chris Porges, CEO of G-NIUS, put it best: 'Trust is not earned here, but given as standard.' That’s the culture we’ve cultivated at Good Together—a place where trust is the starting point, not the end goal. If you’re hesitating, worried about losing the “trust earned” where you are—don’t. The right environment, growth, and trust are here waiting for you. It’s not an opportunity cost; it’s a growth opportunity. 🌱Take it! #LifeAtGM #GoodmanMasson #GoodTogether #FlexibleWorking #Trust #JoinUs

Last night was incredible! From discovering new ways to support families in debt to assisting my teammates with licensing, it was all so enlightening. The camaraderie as we cheered on each other's successes and future training prospects was uplifting. But most of all, seeing my team, my family, rally behind me meant everything. After countless nights of studying and overthinking, their support meant the world. I'm thrilled I took the leap, and I'm committed to pushing even harder to steer our team in the right direction. Together, we can make a difference and help even more families thrive. If anyone is interested in joining my team and learning from our leaders how to build financial freedom, I am only a message away! #TeamWork #FinancialFreedom #SuccessStories #opportunityknocks #joinus #newyork #newjersey #Opportunity #careeropportunity #joinourteam #workwithus #newcareer #dreamjob #workfromhome #RemoteWork #professionaldevelopment #careergrowth #growwithus #motivation #success #leadershipdevelopment #newopportunities #newyork #bronx #brooklyn #queens #manhattan #manhattannewyork #finacialservices #finacialliteracy #nyccardealers #nycfancyrestaurants

UW - Investors in Purple - Part 3 by Ian Richard Lawton ♥️ After 17 years working as a Prison Officer I got the job as a Utility Warehouse Energy Customer Services Advisor - Huzzah! Training was thorough but also quite fun. 8 weeks of learning how to use the systems, how billing worked, all the various plans, processes and procedures eventually culminating with us playing one final Kahoot before fledging the nest, joining our new teams and actually taking calls. My illness was/is still an issue but adjustments were made with further accommodations available and on the table if ever i need them. I began to feel a bit safe, secure. Loz was a few weeks ahead of me job wise and, in less than 3 months, being typically her, had already gone for and gotten a promotion up into another department. I was a little more sedate, I waited an extra 2 months before spreading my wings! Basically, and to clarify, from the basic foundation, the bottom rung of the ladder there are so many chances, options and opportunities available in UW, so many ways that you can advance your career and experience. There’s a multitude of different roles and challenges constantly evolving for you to take on with all the support you could possibly need to achieve it. If you have an idea, share it. If you do well, you get rewarded, do more, do less, you have free reign, freedom of speech, choice! Staff wellbeing is constantly championed and further explored, team building and department interaction activities occur regularly to help boost morale and company camaraderie. I’ve found UW really is a place where you can settle, find your niche or reach even higher if you want to. It’s such a diverse and welcoming place to work, a place where you feel secure, valued, a place that gives back what YOU put in. Power to the Purple. We're proud of the work we're doing here - BUT, there's a lot more to be done. Benchmarking and connecting is paramount - it's the purpose of these awards. -Milspouses are still underutilized, underemployed and often challenged to find a reasonable career option. -Guard/Reserve are still underutilized, un-connected in some cases, and better benefits/practices are often hard to push. -Skillbridge and similar programs are often being improperly employed, causing multiple transitions for service members. - Finally, many organizations don't realize the massive bottom line impacts of having a successful, well-oiled program. It's more than "nice to have". It's great for business and people. Congratulations to all of the companies who've been recognized by the VETS Indexes awards that were recently released. Cushman & Wakefield has ranked 5 Star for the 2nd consecutive year. We're only able to do this with the hard work of so many alongside us. But there's more to be done.
