Did you know that 60% of documents in the electronic medical records come with improper identification, such as the wrong title? Or that one in four documents have the wrong date—or no date at all? Those are just two of the many significant gaps in basic document information that we’ve found in our research. In the best case, these gaps make it difficult for clinicians to find the data they’re looking for. But they can also lead to confusion when, for example, a colonoscopy record uploaded in 2023 describes a procedure done in 2012. Luckily, AI can help turn this chaos into clarity. Here is the healthcare model AIME by Google AIME is a research AI system for diagnostic medical reasoning and conversations. It is trained to Analyze the context of a medical question, Create a generated response, then refine the response based on training of thousands of patient-personal care provider interactions, and finally sends a replies that would be bet received by the patient. This is the chart showing how AIME performed against a human PCP.
