Saudi Arabia and Romania Sign Landmark Agreement to Boost Logistics Services. In a significant move to enhance global logistics, Saudi Arabia and Romania have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to promote logistics services between the two nations. 🔹 Key Highlights: Vision 2030 Alignment: This MoU aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and National Industrial Strategy, aiming to position the Kingdom among the top 10 countries in logistics services. Economic Exchange: In 2022, Saudi Arabia’s exports to Romania amounted to $15.1 million, while Romania’s exports to the Kingdom stood at $410 million. Operational Excellence: The agreement will introduce the latest operational methods, harmonizing policies, and regulations to foster logistics governance and licensing. Strategic Visit: Minister of Transport and Logistics Services Saleh Al-Jasser, accompanied by the Ambassador of the Kingdom to Romania, Mohammed Abdul Ghani Khayat, visited Bucharest International Airport. The visit included: Comprehensive services overview in passenger management, cargo operations, and air carriers. Discussions with TAROM officials on operational capacity and fleet size.
