VISTARA - The Airline Entity May Die, But The Idea of ‘BRAND VISTARA’ Will Live On! The merger of Air India and Vistara marks a significant moment in Indian aviation. While the airline brand Vistara may soon disappear, it's crucial to remember that a brand is more than just a logo, a name, or the product it lives on — it's an idea that thrives in the minds of consumers and may not be easy to kill. Air India, with its long history and global recognition, undoubtedly holds a stronger position among the two brands, especially in the global market. However, Vistara has cultivated a distinct identity and brand experience that resonates with its travellers. 🤔 Tell me:  Given a choice between two airlines with the same price (or even if Vistara is slightly higher) and preferred time to fly, wouldn't you choose Vistara over the other? This experience, built on exceptional service, modern amenities, and a premium feel, surpasses Air India in many ways. This is a valuable equity that Air India should leverage and build on. While the Vistara Airline brand may be discontinued, the idea of Vistara 🎈the promise of a superior travel experience 🎈 is a valuable asset that must continue. For example: 👉 India lacks a mass-accessible chartered flight brand. 👉 We could certainly do with a paid but dependable airport lounge brand. Or even: 👉 A mass-premium airline brand catering only to smaller cities. And let me test my luck and push the idea a little further: 👉 How many of you would like to see a plush & luxurious intercity bus brand that brings that same premium feel to ground travel (with our highways becoming more experiential)? ❤️ The "Vistara idea" could be the foundation for any of the above ❤️ This merger reminds us that brands are living, breathing entities that evolve and adapt. While the physical manifestation of a brand may change, the underlying idea can continue to shape and influence consumer perceptions. #AirIndia #Vistara #BrandMerger #BrandExperience #AviationIndustry #BrandManagement #brandStrategy
