Final day of the Christmas wrap up tour starting with Brighton on Monday moving through Birmingham, Liverpool and Manchester and today landing in Leeds where our teams from Sheffield and Newcastle are joining us for the Christmas Party tonight. It’s been a long week with a lot of travel but absolutely worth it to sit down and catch up with the majority of our Consultants and Managers and reflect on how their years have been, what they’ve learned and what they’ll be taking into next year. Our Construction, Industrial and Driving teams have some exceptional talent and I can’t wait to see what they achieve in 2025. End of the year is always a good time for reflection. 2024 has been a year of grind, grit and determination. If you’ve made it through this year, managed to do better than you did last year and you’ve got good pipeline for next year then you can absolutely do recruitment. Stick in and watch how far you’ll go. As one of our Consultants told me (Just got his promotion to Senior Consultant this week) “the thing I’ve learned this year is that I can do it” Next year is a big year for our teams. We’ve invested heavily in expansion, opening up 3 new offices in England to deliver regional coverage to our clients. The Industrial Revolution is fully underway and we’re already building solid pipeline with clients having only really relaunched it a few months ago. If you’re reading this and you’re a good recruiter and you’re not getting anywhere at your current place. If you’re a senior consultant or a junior manager and you’ve hit your ceiling, the goal posts for your promotions keep changing. If you want to work for a company that gives you transparent and clear goals to get promoted, make more money and have a career that can take you where you want to go, then I’d be really interested in having a conversation with you. We regularly attend the Movers & Shakers Property Networking Forum breakfast at The Savoy in London. This time we were part of a discussion on the future of offices. Whilst many positive emerging trends were discussed, one key take-away is the significant growth in demand for Grade A space that is located next to major transport nodes. This isn’t isolated to London either, with cities such as Manchester and Birmingham also benefitting from this effect, and more development should be concentrated in these areas to suit. #thefutureofoffices #networking #transportplanning

When you see a company say they are a fair employer, do you believe them? Find out how you can become a true fair employer... You will see us preach that we provide our team with well-being support, fair working conditions, good pay and that our clients receive outstanding service because we help them turn their 'good' businesses into great ones by empowering them to take control of their employee journey. But where is the proof, and how can you trust what we say? The proof is now in the West Yorkshire Fair Work Charter badge that you will see in our emails thanks to Tracy Brabin. The Yorkshire Fair Work Charter Badge should be a goal for every business to achieve to show that they are great employers. If you want to get your Fair Work Charter Badge then search West Yorkshire Fair Work Charter - West Yorkshire Combined Authority where you can find out how. #growth #flexibleworking #employeeexperience #ceo

London is celebrated for its vibrant and diverse public spaces that seamlessly blend residential areas, offices, retail, and cultural attractions. Designing robust security solutions for these environments is a delicate balance. The challenge lies in implementing comprehensive measures that ensure the safety and wellbeing of all - residents, commuters, tourists - without compromising the welcoming, open atmosphere these spaces are known for. Achieving this requires a multi-layered approach that harmoniously integrates three key pillars: highly trained personnel adept at customer service and emergency response, strategic procedures focused on threat assessment and proactive planning, and advanced technologies that enhance operations through data-driven insights. By thoughtfully addressing inclusivity, accessibility, and evolving public needs, the security industry can craft solutions that provide robust protection while preserving the vibrant energy of London's public realms. The goal is to create secure yet inviting spaces that foster a sense of community. Find out more here: https://bit.ly/3VqfLmR
