I’m happy to share that I’ve obtained a new certification: Building Climate Resilience through Ecosystem-based Adaptation Planning from the United Nations! When I was developing NERMI CCR (not published yet), the importance of ecosystem solutions was evident. Sometimes, especially in coastal communities, certain environmental factors and indicators must be present, regardless of whether the area is in the Netherlands or elsewhere. However, coordinating these types of solutions with decision-making bodies is always a challenge. #climatechange #climateadaptation #coastalcommunity #communityresilience

I completed Community Adaptation Action Planning (CAAP) course In this course which I learnt more about key participatory tools and processes to: support communities in action and adaptation planning; analyze the impacts of climate change as a basis for identifying options for adaptation; and identify a vision or or picture of the community’s future. #CommunityResillience #CommunityAdaptation #Sustainability

This interactive SDG Academy Nature-based Solutions for Disaster and Climate Resilience course is essential for all industry players. I view it as CSR redefined. Future thinking boardrooms and corporate debates should have eco-based as a must do agenda. Whether directly or indirectly, all industries relate with the Natural Capital which needs enhancement, protection or restoration. This is for the success of the SDG 2030 goals, and beyond. It can be done, if we all join hands.
