She Code Africa’s Post

#Roadtoempowering2000girlsinstem We wrapped up our Lagos Edition of the She Code Africa stem a girl initiative with a visit to over 200 girls at SOS children's Village Isolo. We conducted an intensive two-day outreach workshop for the girls, where we introduced them to STEM and various career paths within this field. The workshop included a hands-on session where they wrote their very first lines of code and built their own obstacle-avoidance robot cars! 💃💃💃 To support continuous learning and promote growth, we launched a STEM club and donated laptops and Arduino kits to enhance their education. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Visit our YouTube channel @She Code Africa to watch the full recap now! 💃💃💃😁 #SheCodeAfrica #stemagirl

What an incredible initiative! It's inspiring to see the impact you're making in the lives of these young girls through STEM education. Introducing them to coding and robotics is such a powerful way to empower the next generation of innovators. The launch of the STEM club and the donation of laptops and Arduino kits will undoubtedly provide them with valuable resources for continuous learning. Kudos to the entire team for your dedication and commitment to fostering growth and opportunities for these girls! We at Hielite Academy will certainly look forward to a future where we can support or collaborate on your marvellous initiatives. Cheers 🥂
