Every jurisdiction has their particular dynamics. That said, in my experience, any large subdivision whose governing body hasn't expanded in decades inherently can perform day-to-day constituent services as effectively as possible. The challenges facing local government in these days if Federal paralysis is too acute for a circa 1956 governing structure (assuming this article is factually accurate, as I have found Maryland Matters usually is). https://lnkd.in/ettw6XPV

On January 1, Pennsylvania’s new annual reporting requirements went into effect, replacing the previous and longstanding decennial report requirement. These new annual reporting requirements apply to many community associations, which include HOAs and condominiums.
