**Save Water, Save Money: Join Us for the 16th Annual Fix a Leak Week!** **🚰 Attention, everyone!** Today marks the start of the **16th annual Fix a Leak Week**, organized by the **U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's WaterSense program**. It's time to tackle those pesky leaks and **save water and money** in the process. Did you know that minor leaks in U.S. homes waste nearly **one trillion gallons of water** each year? That's a staggering amount! But fear not, because with a little effort, we can make a big difference. Throughout this week, we urge businesses and consumers alike to take just **10 minutes each day** to inspect for leaks and implement simple repairs. From checking toilet flappers to tightening showerhead connections, every little fix counts. **Not sure where to start?** Here are a few tips: - Monitor your water meter before and after a period of no water usage to detect leaks. - Conduct a simple dye test in your toilet tank to identify leaks. - Replace worn-out toilet flappers and faucet washers. - Inspect outdoor fixtures like hose spigots and sprinkler heads for leaks. Let’s work together to conserve water and protect our precious resources for future generations.
