Matthew 20:25-29 😊🙏🏻 New International Version 25 Jesus called them together and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. 26 Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, 27 and whoever wants to be first must be your slave— 28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” AI Overview ... In the Bible, Matthew 20:26 conveys that true greatness in the Kingdom of Heaven is achieved through humility and service, not through power or authority. This is a contrast to the worldly structures that are often driven by ambition and a desire for status. Here are some ways that Matthew 20:26 is interpreted: Humility Jesus wants people to embrace humility and take a low-totem-pole position, even if it's not their choice. Servanthood Jesus' teachings emphasize that the greatest among His followers should serve others, even as a slave does. Different standards Jesus' Kingdom operates by different standards, where greatness is found in serving, not in commanding others or being served. Jesus' example Jesus came to serve and not to be served, and His ultimate sacrifice on the cross is a demonstration of this truth

In the context of Solomon asking and receiving from WISDOM, note the references he makes to ‘SERVANT’. Then Solomon said, “You have shown great faithfulness to Your SERVANT David … “And now, LORD my God, You have made Your SERVANT king in place of … “And Your SERVANT is in the midst of Your people … “So give Your SERVANT an understanding heart to judge …" 1 Kings 3:6-9 Wisdom is giving to those who have an internal disposition to serve. Wisdom is functional and needs a context to express itself. Wisdom is always connected to an assignment. The bigger the Divine assignment or purpose, the greater the deposit of Divine wisdom that is necessary. Solomon is connected to a purpose that goes beyond his person or his personal desires and ambition. He is David’s son - he is the recipient of Davidic promises and purposes which are to be continued in his time. He becomes the recipient of a significant deposit of wisdom, understanding and discernment because the magnitude of the Divine purposes attendant with the nation of Israel, which he leads. Many fail to connect to purposes vested in fathers, and thus come short on the potential wisdom they can receive. If all your concerns are centred around you alone, and you do not pitch into and desire to be a continuation of legacy and purposes bigger than yourself, the quantum and quality of wisdom you can potentially receive will be limited. - Wisdom is given to those inclined to facilitating purpose. - Great wisdom is given to those inclined to facilitating great purpose. - Greater wisdom is given to those inclined to facilitating greater purpose. Adopt and mindset of a SERVANT. #wisdom #servant #purpose

Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? 1 Corinthians 1:20 From the ancient world to the present day, how many philosophers have come and gone? How many ideas became little more than passing trends or failed experiments? Only the wisdom that comes from God is durable and eternal. And His wisdom always proves itself superior to even the best human thinking. Lord, as I take in the voices and ideas around me, I am swept up in a whirlwind of information. Help me to hear Your voice over the clamor. Give me the wisdom to recognize hollow and vain philosophies that are not of You. Instead, teach me to rely on Your truth, even if the world around me sways in another direction. In Jesus’ name, amen. #spiritualityandspiritualsouls #brainexpansiongroup

What does the wayside indicate in this parable? Matthew 13:19: “When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart.” What causes a person to not understand the truth? 1 Corinthians 2:14: “The natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” As such: 1 Corinthians 2:13: “We impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, interpreting spiritual truths to those who are spiritual.” Where then does our answer come from? 2 Timothy 3:16: “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.” The reason why Christians are so described in: Acts 17:11: “These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the Word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so.” Therefore: James 1:5: “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.” What’s more? Colossians 3:16: “Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom.” christatthehelm.org

I try my best to live a life that please God, not man. My fear of the Lord is above every man on this earth. God surpasses man in my eyes. What God says goes before what man say no matter their status, rank, or wealth. I respect man but I don’t fear them because we should only fear God. One thing I hold dear to my heart is my “integrity”. Integrity is the quality of being honest and having a strong set of moral and ethical principles that you consistently adhere to. The integrity comes from believing and fearing God and knowing that He can give and kill in one instance. The Bible says in Proverbs 9:10 (KJV) The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy [is] understanding. Going against my own conviction is “sinning ” before the Lord. To do what pleases man, but displease God means that I have fallen into Exodus 20, which is idolatry. God comes before my school, job, relationship, businesses etc!!! The Bible says 1 Corinthians 10:31 (KJV) Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God. He must be glorified in all that we do. Here are some scriptures on why it’s important to remain honest and ethical in all that you do. Proverbs 10:9 (NLT) People with integrity walk safely, but those who follow crooked paths will slip and fall. Proverbs 11:3 (NLT) Honesty guides good people; dishonesty destroys treacherous people. Proverbs 28:6 (NLT) Better to be poor and honest than to be dishonest and rich. Proverbs 20:7 (NLT) The godly walk with integrity; blessed are their children who follow them. Proverbs 12:22 (NLT) The LORD detests lying lips, but he delights in those who tell the truth. #integrity #ethical #justice #fairness

The Wisdom to Administer I Kings 3:27-28 NKJV [27] So the king answered and said, “Give the first woman the living child, and by no means kill him; she is his mother.” [28] And all Israel heard of the judgment which the king had rendered; and they feared the king, for they saw that the wisdom of God was in him to administer justice. In the next chapter, v.29, it is reported, " Solomon's wisdom surpassed the wisdom of all the sons of the east and all the wisdom of Egypt". Suddenly it dawns on us that what Solomon prayed for has come to pass. This wisdom is " Divine wisdom... from above. It is the wisdom from God by God. James 3; 17 – “But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.” These eight characteristics differentiates this Wisdom from the one of v.15, which earthly, sensual and demonic. Divine wisdom affects the quality of the life we live. Prov.4:7 enjoins us to look for this kind of wisdom because it is the principal thing. In the expression of this wisdom, Solomon records, " A fool vents all his feelings, But a wise man holds them back.” Pro.29:11. It is strategic the way Solomon solved this problem between the two women. We didn't hear that the other woman protested the judgement . How could she. Wisdom took over. Ask God for wisdom to talk, for wisdom to answer, and for wisdom to act. When widom takes over, your reactions sre different. You need this wisdom to lead, to administer and to run on a daily basis. Good morning.

💧💦MORNiNG DEW💦💧 TOPIC: Never take advantage of your fellow. TEXT: Leviticus 25:17 [17] Show your fear of God by not taking advantage of each other. I am the lord your God.(NLT) 📘NOTE📘 ✍️ King Solomon from his many experiences in life, made some profound statements about the "who" and "why" the fear of God. These statements are; (1) The fear of the Lord is the duty of all men. (Ecclesiastes 12:13) (2) The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. (Proverbs 9:10) ✍️ The fear of the Lord is the formidable backbone of absolute godliness. That is to say, a man without reverence for God cannot be godly. ✍️ All men (irrespective of academical, social, financial, ethnical or political affiliation and achievements) have a common duty of fearing God in all their pursuit. ✍️ The duty of fearing God also comes with a distinct privilege, that is "wisdom". ✍️ The unique nature of this wisdom was well expounded by the Apostle James when he said, "But the wisdom from above is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and the fruit of good deeds. It shows no favoritism and is always sincere.(James 3:17) ✍️ From the above, it can be deduced that, a genuine fear for the Lord is accompanied with tangible evidence which can be seen even in our relationship with other men. ✍️ From the reference scripture in Leviticus 25:17, we are entreated to show our fear of God by not taking advantage of each other. ✍️ Beloved, the wisdom we access through fear of God endows us with every grace needed to foster a godly relationship with others. ✍️ Therefore, any character that do not enhance good relationship should be checked and corrected from the sincerity of our fear of God. Shalom 💐💐

WORDS OF WISDOM FROM THE HEART OF A SERVANT...... Sadly, too many people are hooked on “good preaching” like an addict is hooked on drugs. You love the high that it gives you, but you don’t want to change. You simply go from one “drug of the day” (poplar preacher) to the next. The apostle Paul wrote a warning for the church: “The time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear” (2 Timothy 4:3). You desire massages rather than messages—sermons that charm rather than challenge, entertain rather than edify, and please rather than preach. You have, as one commentator put it, “ears which have to be continually titillated with novelties.” The church’s quest to manage the comfort level of its audience must never take priority over preaching the uncompromising, never changing, eternal Word of GOD. The fear of offending people’s sensibilities can never supersede the fear of offending GOD. Rather, the church should follow the example of the apostles: “We have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of GOD. On the contrary, by setting forth the truth plainly we commend ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of GOD” (2 Corinthians 4:2). The church today, more than ever, needs to re-examine the teachings it endorses. We need to ask ourselves the following questions: • Are our teachings truly from GOD or simply itches we want to scratch? • Are we standing on solid biblical grounds, or have we allowed the world to influence our thinking? • Have we guarded ourselves from the schemes of Satan (Ephesians 6:11)? • Are we keeping ourselves “blameless for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Thessalonians 5:23)? The truth is, GOD is not concerned with scratching our itches but in transforming us into the image of HIS Son (Romans 12:2; 2 Corinthians 4:4). Remember, faith forward. ....ALWAYS FORWARD!!

Friday, April 5 God’s Truth "Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth." Ephesians 6:14 In recent years, a new phrase has entered the cultural conversation: “My truth” or “your truth” have, for many people, replaced “the truth.” Social media has made it possible for every person to speak his or her truth to the world. This trend is fallout from the rise of the postmodern worldview that says there is no truth. Instead, truth is in the eye of the beholder; truth is whatever you say it is. Recommended Reading: Psalm 119:160 Truth is like the rudder on a giant ship—the thing that keeps the ship on track regardless of how high the waves or how strong the winds. A life that is not based on “true truth” (a phrase from Christian philosopher Francis Schaeffer) will be tossed about by life’s circumstances like a ship without a rudder. Jesus prayed that God would sanctify believers with His truth, concluding, “Your word is truth” (John 17:17). There is no “my truth” or “your truth”; there is only God’s truth which is found in His Word. There is no better way to “gird up the loins of your mind” (1 Peter 1:13) than by meditating on the truth of Scripture. The Word of God is perfect; it is precious and pure; it is truth itself. Martin Luther

Empty Power (Day 9 of 10) “Divide and Conquer” 10 Day Leadership and Business Series by Pavlino Veracruz I want to share some principles that people in power use and share a balance of biblical context to these demanding principles. I have 10 principles that work very well, but they’re brutal. Fair warning. 9. Divide and Conquer If facing multiple opponents, attempt to isolate individuals and sow discord within their ranks. The principle of "Divide and Conquer," while strategically effective in some situations, goes against several core biblical teachings. The Bible emphasizes the importance of unity among believers and the community at large. "How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!" Psalm 133:1 "Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace." Ephesians 4:3 Jesus's commandment to love our neighbor as ourselves contradicts the idea of sowing discord and exploiting divisions. “And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’" Matthew 22:39 “Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves." Romans 12:10 The Bible encourages peacemaking and reconciliation, not creating or escalating conflict. “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God." Matthew 5:9 “Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness." James 3:18 My Sowing discord often involves deceit and manipulation, which are contrary to biblical values of truthfulness and integrity. "The Lord detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy." Proverbs 12:22 “Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body." Ephesians 4:25 Therefore, from a biblical perspective, "Divide and Conquer" is not a moral or ethical principle to follow. Instead, believers are called to promote unity, love, peace, and truthfulness in their interactions with others. Instead of dividing opponents, a biblical approach might involve seeking understanding, reconciliation, and peaceful resolution of conflict. This could lead to stronger relationships and a more harmonious outcome in the long run. Tomorrow concludes the series. I want to thank you all for making this first series so special.

The Everlasting Word Matthew 24:35 - "Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away." In this powerful verse from Matthew 24:35, Jesus Christ makes a profound statement about the enduring nature of His teachings. He compares the physical world, represented by heaven and earth, to the spiritual realm, represented by His words. While the physical world is subject to change and decay, Jesus' words will remain eternal. This verse is a reminder of the timeless and unchanging nature of God's truth. It assures us that the principles and teachings found in the Bible are not merely historical artifacts but are relevant and applicable to every generation. No matter the challenges or changes we face in our lives, we can always find guidance and direction in the words of Jesus. The contrast between the temporary nature of the physical world and the eternal nature of God's word is a source of great comfort and hope. It reminds us that our ultimate security and fulfillment are found not in the things of this world, but in the enduring truths of God's kingdom. Matthew 24:35 is a powerful reminder of the enduring nature of God's word. It encourages us to seek wisdom and guidance in the Bible and to trust in the promises of Jesus Christ. As we navigate the challenges and uncertainties of life, we can find solace in the knowledge that God's word will never fail us. #bible #bibleverseoftheday #bibleverse #verseoftheday
