🚀 Successfully Printed a 540mm Tall Strip on the INSL-800 SLA Printer!🖨️ We recently took on the challenge of printing a tall, slender part—over 500mm in height, with a slim 10mm x 22mm footprint—on STPL3D’s INSL-800 SLA 3D printer. Printing such parts is no easy task, due to the forces exerted by the recoater. The risk of support failure or part detachment due to the recoater’s movement and the possibility of warping makes these prints particularly challenging. Thanks to the FCC lattice structure in our OPF (Optimized Path Finding) supports, we successfully printed this part in the very first attempt. The rigid, well-optimized supports ensured the part remained stable throughout the process, despite the recoater’s interactions. This checks the "tackiness" of the ink - an important factor for color splitting and clean transfer to the rollers. This ensures first-class printing results! 🖨️✨ 🔍 We check the tack gradation depending on the printing sequence (e.g. black → cyan → magenta → yellow) in descending order.
