It's Giving Tuesday! What are you giving today? Did you know that Giving Tuesday began in 2012 and has grown into a global movement? You don't have to make a 6-figure donation to make a difference. Every dollar counts to help nonprofits lift up our communities, care for the vulnerable, preserve our natural resources for future generations, and foster countless programs to educate, engage, and enrich the lives of our neighbors. Just a few things your donation can help give: 🏥 relief for a family caring for a sick loved one 🐶 a warm space for a dog or cat in a shelter 🍎 a meal for someone in your community 🌿 green spaces, clean air and water 📖 a new book for a young child ✨ hope, joy, kindness, love Whether it's your time through volunteering, your support in the form of a monetary donation, or your voice is raising awareness of critical causes and nonprofits in your area, I hope you are moved to give today. Tomorrow is GivingTuesday. The Tuesday after Thanksgiving is a global event encouraging people to give back to area nonprofits and service agencies. Please consider making a donation to a local organization. If money is tight this year, you can still find ways to give back: -Give your Time-contact a local nonprofit and offer to volunteer your time. -Give your Talent-Use your skills to help a nonprofit organization. -Give your Voice-Like and share posts about your favorite organizations. -Give from your Heart-Write a thank you note to the staff of local group and let them know how much you appreciate what they do. -Help a Neighbor-Check on your neighbors and see if they need anything -Spread Kindness-Open a door for a stranger or pay for someone's meal in a restaurant. -Prepare for the Future-Teach children the importance of giving and the importance of being involved in your community. #GivingTuesday #SpreadKindness

Our impact report for the month of April is here! First things first - it’s not just about the numbers; it's about the lives we touch. Together, we've donated 1,119 items in April, reaching out to those in need and making a tangible difference in their lives. Every donation counts, and every act of giving creates a ripple effect of positivity. This month, we received 49 donations, each one a testament to the compassion and empathy of our supporters. Though slightly fewer than March's 65 donations, the impact remains just as profound. Our efforts have directly benefitted 533 residents, providing them with essentials and necessities they may have otherwise gone without. Looking forward, we see 283 open needs as of May 6, a significant increase from the 77 in March. But with each need comes an opportunity for us to make a difference, to extend a helping hand, and to spread hope and kindness. None of this would be possible without YOU - our amazing community of donors, volunteers, and supporters. Your dedication, generosity, and passion drive our mission forward, and for that, we are endlessly grateful. Let's continue to stand together, to lift each other up, and to make a positive impact in the world.
