Ever wondered the best way to connect with customers? 🤔 It’s all about integration! Businesses should be using emails, texts, and push notifications together to optimize customer communications. I partnered with @mailchimp to better understand two really interesting reports they’ve published. The first, from Harvard Business Review is Engage, Convert, Repeat: The Winning Formula of SMS and Email Marketing. It makes a compelling case that each communication modality has its own strengths and weaknesses, and that the best practice is to not force customers into just one option.. The second piece is a helpful article: Push Notifications vs. SMS: Which One Is Right for Your Business? I learned a lot about how push notifications work, and when to put them into play to help customers. It’s fascinating to consider when/why/how to use email vs. text messages vs. push notifications. These pieces from Mailchimp really got me thinking about how to better optimize my own customer communications. (and of course, Mailchimp has an integrated platform that lets you do all three) I do wonder though, how many of us are doing this today?
