In the last 3+ years of building Unboxing Art, we have had to modify our technology stack half a dozen times… 🤯 We started with offline workshops and events and developed a WordPress website to spread the word quickly. Then, lockdown happened and it all came to a sudden stop. We had to pivot to an e-learning model quickly and after exploring several alternatives, we decided to go with Teachable as our LMS. 👨🏻🏫 After a few batches, we realised we wanted additional custom functionality to improve the student experience and hence we developed our in-house app using Flutter and Firebase. Then, we needed a Mentor App and an Admin Panel to support the same, which were developed with Firebase as a common backend and Flutter / ReactJS as the Frontend. 📱 About a year ago, we decided to custom-build the CRM that our sales team was using for curating it to our specific requirements. We developed that using Flutter and Firebase as well since it’s primarily a mobile app. 🏷️ As of today, we are in the process of migrating our events website (https://lnkd.in/et9y6JqZ) to a custom ReactJS Frontend and Firebase Backend as well. The next step will be to incorporate AI into these apps! 👨🏻💻 My point? 💡 Technology keeps changing. On average, we see something new coming up every 6 months or so. As developers, it is crucial to keep up with the change by continuously upskilling and experimenting. 🙌🏻 Remember this - “A good developer is not someone who has mastered a given technology or framework.
