My favourite part of my role is meeting customers. This week we met with the Bank Sinarmas team. We were demonstrating our solution to prevent call centre fraud by providing a mechanism for customers to verify the caller was legitimate and from the said Bank. In the process of having this discussion, my Bank Sinarmas counterpart started to generate more use cases it could solve. I loved this one in particular: #Midships can integrate this solution with #PingIdentity #AIC for WorkForce Management. It can enable an administrator to verify a phone call asking them to transfer money or update the bank details has come from a legitimate individual. Easy and addresses a real challenge facing large corporates across Asia. #NeverStopLearning

On Friday we had a open heart discussion with the DMD of Access Bank Plc Chizoma Okoli It was a very exciting interaction for me and I was glad I could make it to the meeting irrespective of the heavy down-pour that Friday evening, after a hectic day at work. Chizoma Okoli took us through the journey of how she started her banking career, and it was quite an exciting and inspiring story. I do hope that one day, my story will also inspire someone out there. But that's not the focus of this write-up The purpose of the meeting was to get the management team to hear from us and know ways to improve our working conditions, and also to ensure that we have all we need to work well and deliver excellent results. It was a great moment being part of such a meeting, getting to see things and know things from the managerial angle. My take out from the meeting is that most times policies are put in place not just to protect the organisation and its customers but also to protect the employees. But even though this policies are good there are times when they become obsolete and needs changes so they align with the current trends and market needs. #markettrends #employeesatisfaction #customersatisfaction
