Incredible. Clean-ups have all my support and respect. But there is one but... After every clean-up, the trash comes back. To stop plastic pollution, we need to go to the source - a few big corporations. Big brands need to move beyond recycling and focus on innovative waste prevention. Don't let them blame 8 billion people. They must change. Instead of "just" focusing on recycling, here are other crucial concepts to work with: - refill - reuse - collect - reduce - recycle - eliminate - ecodesign Applied together, we can turn off the tap and end plastic pollution.
